If you are able to vote in US elections, you may want to Vote for Roseanne.
I don’t think Roseanne would be any worse than Romney or Obama. She sounds like she understands our issues: “They have stolen our money, our future and the American Dream and continue to enslave us with a broken monetary system,”
Roseanne was actually talking about banks and US Federal Reserve, but her comments apply to IRS, FBAR and FATCA too. It’s more than we’ve heard from other candidates.
I bet she won’t fire Big Bird either. Maybe she’ll make him her Chief of Staff.
Totally off topic but may be of interest if we’re talking about Big Bird

“HSBC’s fifth annual Expat Survey identified Canada as the best place for expats to raise kids.”
LOL. Love it. Just don’t let her sing the US national anthem!
@Outraged: Stranger things have happened. Ronald Regan made the transition from Bedtime for Bonzo to US President.
Heads up on a Tribune of Geneva article on the American electorate in Switzerland: http://isaacbrocksociety.ca/2012/10/22/tribune-de-geneve-americans-in-switzerland-tend-to-support-barack-obama/
I sent in my ballot just the other day. A vote for Obama felt like a suicide attempt while the idea of Romney in charge of the nation’s foreign affairs sent chills up my spine (that trip to the UK didn’t go very well did it?). Not liking either of the candidates and wondering what to do I flashed on to the fine French tradition called “voter blanc.” Basically it means that you turn in a ballot with no candidate selected. It’s a protest vote – a way of saying that none of the candidates are worth a damn and you refuse to put your vote down for second-best. The US doesn’t have that but they do allow you to write in a candidate. So I did. He won’t win but, hey, best I could do and sleep well at night. 🙂
As for the rest of the ballot I did take the senate race in my state very seriously. I want the incumbent out (she voted for FATCA). Seriously enough to ship money off to the opposing candidate. I liked the guy for a lot of reasons but what made me very excited about him is his extensive experience living and working abroad and the fact that his wife is a Brit (and that makes their child a dual). Sounded like my kind of guy.
@Victoria” The sobbing girl in this video shares your frustration. She’s “tired of Bronco Bamma and Mitt Romney.” http://bit.ly/ToyncR
Abby for President 2044! (I think she’ll be old enough by then.) In the meantime, NPR gave Abby ice cream and Mother Jones declared her the “soul of a nation.”
